WaveTrak 3DPack quickly and efficiently selects the best possible carton to use in your packing operations. WaveTrak 3DPack is designed to seamlessly integrate to your SAP system and using actual product dimensions and weights will select the best possible packing containers by analyzing each individual item, required quantity, item dimensions and weight to determine the optimum solution to maximize your packing efficiencies.

Knowing the required shipping box (es) before beginning the picking process will allow the operator to pick directly into the shipping container eliminating the need to repack the order after picking is complete. In effect the picker becomes the packer! The system determines what products will be packed together in a shipping container significantly reducing the cycle time to pick and then pack deliveries in your operation.

WaveTrak Dimensioning Module Overview

Each Delivery that is read into WaveTrak is processed through a dimensioning program in this Module. Some Deliveries may not be dimensioned (Non-Conveyed) or you may decide to filter those deliveries that are sent to us so that only those deliveries that require dimensioning are made available to us for processing.

The following sections document the tables that exist on WaveTrak and that may be used by the end user to optimize the functionality of our dimensioning algorithms and program. As currently designed all these tables reside on WaveTrak and can be maintained independently. Certainly, we would be open to having discussions with you/SAP about accessing some of this data on SAP if that is a direction that would be preferred for some reason.
