WaveTrak SMT

WaveTrakSMT has been designed to be integrated with WaveTrakWMS system but can be installed as a stand alone system. If integrated with WMS the system provides a seamless, stockroom to SMT feeder position capability. In this integrated environment we have complete knowledge of all available inventory, inventory in the stockroom and on the manufacturing floor. This allows you to backflush allocation demands for work orders processed in the stockroom against available inventory on the floor first, eliminating the need to perform a physical pick and then allocate to the inventory in the stockroom. This significantly reduces the time to pick and set up these work orders.

Real-Time Operations

WaveTrakSMT directs all SMT set up operations in real-time, using the speed and accuracy of Radio Frequency (RF) terminals and bar code readers, optimizing both facility and human resources. WaveTrakSMT also offers real-time, on-line access to all inventory information, complete transaction information for all material moves, feeder inventory, location information, WO status, and personnel productivity.

Paperless Environment

WaveTrakSMT is designed to provide a paperless environment that eliminates the need for any data entry tasks with their inherent errors and wasted manpower. Every task required for optimum operation of the SMT floor can be performed on wireless RF devices that provide instantaneous, real time transactional interface to the system. Operators are directed through all tasks by WaveTrakSMT and are not required to perform any terminal based activities during set up activities.

Optimization and Functionality

WaveTrakSMT features extensive optimization tools and functionality, up-to-the-second real-time views of all in process orders, editing tools for addressing unexpected problems such as machine downtime and job setup changes. online/real time inventory location and availability information, Radio Frequency based P.O.U. (Point of Use) replenishment program, SMI( Supplier Managed Inventory) replenishment to external vendors, FIFO allocation logic, feeder position verification, auto allocation to available inventory and much more.
